No, I can't let it go because 19 Americans have died in Falluja in the past two days. I can't let it go because I am one of millions of disenfranchised voters across the country who lived to see a president who was only elected once receive two terms. I can't let it go because I am a woman who is seeing her rights melting away for the sake of the moral comfort of a bunch of old white guys. I would rather pay high taxes than the situation I'm currently facing as a globally-thinking and extremely concerned female citizen. Pity my vote didn't count, because then I'd sleep better.
